The 2022 grape harvest around Atlas Peak was marked by ideal weather conditions, resulting in a smaller but high-quality yield. After a mild winter and moderate spring, the summer months provided consistent warmth with minimal heat spikes, allowing the grapes to ripen evenly. The region’s high elevation and unique microclimate helped protect vines from extreme weather, contributing to a slower, more balanced maturation process. As a result, the harvest produced grapes with concentrated flavors, bright acidity, and excellent structure, setting the stage for exceptional wines with depth and complexity.

"This bold and full-bodied red flies out of the gates like a thoroughbred! A very exciting wine, Privity starts with deep and opaque black color and heady concentration. The aromatics are sewn tight and brooding with layers of black currant, black cherry, cocoa and a faint reconning of espresso bean. Immediate and powerful in its attack, the mouth is a showy display of blackberry compote and cassis. At over a minute on the extension, the palate is long and commanding. This wine is destined to be a classic and age worthy for 15 to 20 years, or longer, if properly cellared.
Aged in 100% new French oak for 22 months, bottled unfiltered and unfined. 123 cases produced.
